Static QR code or managed destination
A QR code stores the text you put into it. If that text is a final destination URL, changing the destination later requires printing a new code.
If the QR code contains a Linktery short URL, you can update the short link's destination while keeping the printed QR pattern unchanged.
- Direct destination for permanent content
- Managed short URL for editable campaigns
- Public profile for multiple destinations
- Test before printing
Printing guidance
Use strong contrast, preserve the quiet margin around the code, and avoid making it too small for the expected scanning distance. SVG is useful for print because it scales without becoming pixelated.
Always scan the downloaded file from more than one device before ordering signs, packaging, cards, or labels.
- Dark foreground on a light background
- Keep the outer margin
- Use sufficient physical size
- Test iOS and Android cameras
